It was in a remote location, on the beach. I loved the room with clean comfortable bed, the bed was spacious...

The room was absolutely perfect and luxurious with absolutely fabulous views of the sea.
The bed was very hard, that's sad thing.

Spotlessly clean and charming old hotel!
Well-equipped room, everything was really good. Genuinely helpful and extremely helpful staff and management. Extremely clean building and rooms with a very comfortable four poster bed. Good service, peaceful and incredibly comfortable position in a fantastic area for dog walking. Simply nothing too much trouble, peaceful stay.

They offered us fashionable and huge rooms with coffee, great shower, as for instance. It was nice to find an electric kettle and glassware. The venue was in a remote location really close to sea, the South Downs, the pub.

Breakfast was great. The staff was very nice. We had forgotten a jacket when we left and the hotel was very accommodating and sent us the jacket to Germany without charging us for the costs. Recommendable

Charming decor, beautiful rooms. Breakfast service a bit slow and options were limited. Food overall tasted great.

We were given a better room which was spacious and very clean.
The hotel did not have our booking on the system. The reception area was so unorganised with guest's check in forms scattered across the desk unattended - a huge breach of data protection. Also they did not know if payment had already been taken from our credit card in advance!

The gardens next door are a lovely escape. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The power shower was to die for! Loved the cozy sitting room by the fire and the historical charm of the building.

situated on top of the downs, with a neighbouring garden to walk about in, entertainment nearby very good. staff very friendly and helpful. food very good value for money. beds very comfortable. nice and quiet.
some of the decor in the room was a bit tatty, wallpaper falling off and clash of colours with wallpaper and curtains.

Fine bathroom with luxury fittings, Unique residents' lounge with complimentary offerings, Engaging outdoor space
Noise disturbances from guests in common areas can be quite disruptive!!! A key issue seems to be the awkward check-in process at a crowded bar setting, which can be overwhelming!!!

I could not get breakfast at 7.30, when I was told I could, and had to leave hungry. A lot of noise during the night.

Hotel was well-decorated, rooms were comfortable
Organisation seemed to be lacking - reception was deserted most of the time, breakfast started late both mornings I was there, there was no milk for 20 minutes one day and no toast at all the next!
